Two newbies here....

We just got our 73 superbeetle saturday... :D Already starting the tare down and fix stages...We hope to make it out to Fat Mo's friday with the bug. WE do have some problems with loose steering, loose shifter, and things. But, with time I hope to get it all figured out. I must say, Just found the site and Ya'll seem very nice.

If you have any issues with the Super Beetle's front suspension (and sooner or later, you will), you'll need to get aquainted with these folks . . . http://www.toplineparts.com

I dealt with them a couple of times a few years ago.  They don't just sell Super Beetle front end parts, they KNOW what they are selling.  They work on, drive and race Supers.  They helped me trasform my son's 74 Super from one of the worst handling cars I'd ever driven to one of the best!
