I even remember when H. C. was on McCallie Ave across from Warner Park.    I went to high school with H.C. daughter  Ann Card who drove a '32 5 window B-model Ford with a big bad ass Flat Head V-8.  She married Bob Esbey(?) and their Son Charlie's wife work for me when I had my VW shop.
I have a H.C. catalog from way back when it was about 2" wide 8" tall and maybe 10 pages somewhere in my pile.  Ah, those were the days and boy do I miss them

You're thinking of Luann Espy.  My sales manager here at HC is Joe Lombardo.  He said he knows you.

Yes indeed.   Matter of fact Joe's Dad Tony was my very first customer after I had left the dealership and went to work at Kites VW.  Joe should remember his Dad's old black '60 Bug     Be sure to say HI to Joe for me.

Joe says hey back to ya.  Said he remembers you pulling the 36hp out and putting in a 40hp.  That car became his after he worked all summer to save up $125 to buy the car from his mom.
