July 19, 1998: The Scenic City Volks Folks "Show and Shine" was a big hit. Planned in under a month, the show attracted nearly 70 cars and a several vendors from all across the southeast.
Today marks the anniversary of the first Scenic City Volks Folks "Show and Shine" in 1998 at the VW dealer in Chattanooga. The show was the precursor to the first Bug-a-Paluza in 1999.
