ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG !!   You guys have already gone over the edge. If someone shows up with Pimped Out Dasher I'm leaving the country.
Herb is right when he says he has big VWs along with the toys, but they all seem to be "Static Display" models in various positions and conditions. I would love to be a fly on the wall when he ask Ms Dee if he can build another Shrine Room to hang his Full scale VWS on the wall. At least they would be inside and not turning green in the yard.
Whoops !!!  I do detect some movement for the good.  It seems that I forgot about " Barney Bug The Shiftless" We are now in the process of convincing Barney that there is really something wonderful and neat about having a "Backing Gear". This might come in handy when Herb and Zen are trying to escape the Wally-World security forces with bags of "Pimped out" Pink Dashers or even 412s. Shame on them for trying to deprive the Wally-Kids of targets for their AK-47s (High School Model)

Lol David.I only have two toy's.One buggy and one beetle.Usually the money goes for buggy part's.My daughter gave me a gift cert. to auto zone. You wouldn't believe between 4 car's everyone uses up my cleaning supplies and doesn't tell me. I go out there to use them and they are empty with the containers just thrown back in.That alway's pulls my string.lol The other toy's I have are those franklin mint old corvettes I was given years ago.You know the 50's models.I really liked the 60's models but I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.lol

Dunbuggy, you asked about what we buy, if it's a VW in the form of a toy, we usually buy it. I've got a few "Barbie" New Beetles in my collection including one radio controled. I really like the busses but if it's VW, I've got to have it.

  No Comment!!!!

Oh and Godfather, I got one of the PINK Type 111's at Wally World!! (Do Not Say It Herb) I see that mind in action right now and I'm two hours away.....

Well, in addition to VW toys I also have started collecting artwork, prints, posters, etc. Anything that has a air cooled VW on it.
I started out collecting all VW toys, but had to cut back and have relegated myself to collecting just air cooled VW toys. The last watercooled toy I bought was a black VW Rabbit. My favorites are the Schwimmwagen and Kübelwagen. I'm hoping I'll find some air cooled VW toy boats, planes and motorcycles one day.

Godfather, everybody collects something, I seem to recall seeing several model replicas of boats at your house (beautiful ones too I might add).

I love to BUILD models. As far as VWs, I would love to build the Kubel kit  from the folks at Dragon Co.  At $60 , I couldn't stand a whole lot of those. There are some kits in Europe of a lot of different military Bug types. 1/16 scale I think, but shipping cost more than the kits. I also like to build WW-2 German armor and other rolling stock.  Give me a break Charlton, You of all people know how I like to ,lets say, "Prime the Pump"on any subjet just see what will happen. Makes the forum more fun when things start to slow down abit. I'm not a toy "junkie", but I am a model "junkie" for sure.
Collecting "paper, art, poster," sounds like a interesting thing to do and at least you don't have to rent a warehouse for a very long time. Keep it up !

David I got to get some ant killer out today. They are everywhere.Just noticed them when I went outside. You can come help me if you want.Well I got to get ready to go do this while I got the energy.Got to go buy it first. Are you a gardener too?I need to put out some moth balls to keep these wild creatures away from the pool. They come to get a drink. Can't blame them but snakes, rat's aren't my thing.Wonder if the moth balls will kill the plant's around the pool?Probably my luck it will.Saw it on a show one time but there wern't many plant's around.Guess I will call the garden center.Well have a good one.Got  to get with it.

Where is a good snake when you need him ?   All of a sudden my neigbor and I have been invaded by Gophers or field rats.  They are living in my rock garden. How do you get rid of them without hurting other critters besides shooting them with my SKS semi-auto ?   They are eating poison peanuts like M&Ms.  No results :(

That's why I'm putting out moth balls.Seen it done for other creatures.Just don't let the pet's out near them until they get watered in.
