The RAT lives!!!!!

« on: July 24, 2009, 10:25:40 PM »
Just a note to say that today, William and I brought life to the 1915cc that is to  go in the rat rod. Runs real strong and sounds nice with the new G-Down pipes. I would post some pics, but I don't know how yet .

Dave, it was me squealing with joy! It's the first time I've been in on an engine build that ran. Don't you remember you're first time?

I do indeed. As I remember it was my 1948 Whizzer motorbike.I was 14 I believe. I think you are old enough to remember Whizzer's.  It ran for a whole week before it slung a rod. I traded it for a Cushman scooter and thought I was in hog heaven

I do remember them. My first rat bike was a moped I bought in 1962 for $20. I took a hacksaw and cut the fenders and tail pipe off. I was BAD!!
