The "Jitter Bug"

« on: March 10, 2005, 03:27:30 PM »
Dee and I found a neat little coffee shop in Ringgold, GA today right beside Griffin's Hot Dogs. It's called "The Jitter Bug". They serve very limited food but Griffins is right next door. The only problem is Griffins closes at 7pm.

I think the coffee shop would make a neat place to have a cruise in some Friday night. It is an old service station and they put tables outside under the old covered  drive thru. It's just a neat place.

What thinketh ye??? :D

I'll give it a :thumbs-up: . . . and I don't even like coffee.  Well, every now and then I like a little coffee to wet my sugar and creamer.  Still, it sounds like a neat place for a few old VWs to gather . . . and maybe have their picture made.

Their mochas are some of the best that I have had.  I think it is a little small for a cruise-in; however, Roger, the owner, likes Volkswagens and would love the business for him.  I am either way for a cruise-in though.  I mean it does have "bug" in the name.

The Jitter Bug is right across the street from the C.O. in downtown Ringgold. The owner, Roger, is cousins with one of my friends who works at the phone company too. We donated a DSL line there and a wireless router so there's free wireless Internet access there too. I've been there a few times, I'm sure he'd love for us to have a cruise-in.

They do serve other drinks like Cokes and root beer, too.
