Thanks to "you know who you are"

« on: October 17, 2005, 10:32:53 PM »
Tonight, Trey fell face first into the concrete base of a street lamp in the parking lot of China Moon.  What at first I thought was the absolute worst (all that blood!) turned out to be not so bad after all.  His bottom lip is going to be swollen tomorrow morning, and he will probably be whiny all day, but at least it doesn't look like we will have to go to the doctor.

I want to thank all of you who came rushing over to help.  Joy, Christie, Brian & Amanda, Kimmy & Matt (?), Cindy (?), and whoever else I missed.  My concentration was on Trey at the moment, so I may have named some who weren't there and not named some who were, but thanks to all. :inlove:

Just give him lots of popsicles ... that cures all kinds of things.  I'm glad it didn't turn out to be any worse than it did.   :)

His two front middle teeth are ok...they do have some bruising.  The worst part is the lower lip.  It is kinda "meaty" and he is having a hard time eating anything.  I am taking his food and making it into small, bite-size pieces so that it doesn't have to touch his lip.  It looks a whole lot better than it did Monday night and yesterday.

And the popsicles are a big hit.

Travis, Thats good news. Been there ,done that with my now grown "rug-rats" I think I was more upset than the kids were. Are his front teeth still baby teeth ?   I would keep a watch on them I think and keep your fingers crossed.  Popsicles do work great and so does chocolate pudding, but I think was being "played" with pudding thing. My little Girl was a born con artist like most of them are and knew how to "work the room" to perfection.

Yep, they are baby teeth...heck, Talia hasn't even lost a baby tooth yet.  I would rather they lose their baby teeth the natural way instead of being forced to.
