Swap-a-paluza was the place to be on Sunday...great weather...lots of vendors.
VWOA should take a few pointers from VW of Chattanooga, to make their dealership avaliable for a swap meet on a day they are normally closed!
I wonder if the 'family' made it home with the new addition?

I agree totally with your comments. It was well worth the 4.5 hour trip up from Montgomery. But, I'll have to admit being up at 2:00(because of the time change from central to eastern) sucked. But I had a great time and enjoyed the hospitality of Scenic City Volksfolks!

BTW Herr Overton - heard the one about the chicken coupe? Why can a chicken coupe only have two doors?

I couldn't believe how many folks showed up with parts to sell!  I was a little let down that they had to take so many of them back home, but all in all it was pretty good for a first time thing.  I can't wait to see the crowd that shows up next year when we have a whole year to get the word out!

I, personally, was very please with the turn-out Sunday at Volkswagen of Chattanooga for our FIRST Swap-A-Palooza. Everyone I spoke with said they would gladly drive the distances they drove to attend next year.

Swap-A-Palooza II is already in the planning stages.

I have talked with Mr. Steve Marlin, GM at VW of Chattanooga and he was very pleased with the outcome. I think we have another big PLUS to add to our list.

Thanks to all the Volks Folks who attended and helped out what little bit needed doing. I appreciate everyones support.
