Suggestions of where to buy

« on: November 03, 2008, 10:43:31 AM »
Since the guy I was going to buy some wheels from backed out on me, I can now buy all of my wheel bearings, seals and brake parts.  Anyone have a suggestion as where to buy from that is inexpensive?  I know, I know...don't go cheap on bearings and brakes.  I don't plan to.  I just want decent quality stuff for not alot of dough.  Joe at Tri-State wanted $45 per wheel for the bearings and seals.  That seems a bit steep to me.  Said the bearings were Chinese, but good stuff.  Mid-America has the same thing for about $30 per wheel.

You runnin drop spindles on it? I got all my stuff from cb performance they sent me some decnt stuff. My advice iso get on the phone with whoever you buy from and ask about the quality(china vs german)Alot of places dont tell you until you get it then it's too late. Pay the extra cash whenever german parts are available some Brazil parts are ok some arent kinda hit and miss. We all know that empi is horrible as well as the rest of the Chinese junk.

I haven't made up my mind yet about dropped spindles.  I do know that I want an adj beam.  I want it low as possible but still drivable.  I also want a rake to it as well.
