Strange person wants my wrecked Car

Check this out.  I'm selling the wreckd sube and this gets sent.  Why would he pay more than I'm asking?   SC

Hello,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Well i must say you ve got a nice car.  In a transaction like this i will appeciate it if we can put trust first so that the transaction can go smoothly. In the recent time, i bought a car from a seller who i sent payment to and never ships out my car, so i will like to know if i can trust you before i proceed with this transaction.I'm located in NY.  I will like to pay you $450  if you can reserve the car for me while i make payment.
My mode of payment will be through a US Cashiers/ Certified Check  and i will wait till you get the payment and cleared before i ship the car. Shipping will be handled by my shipping company as soon as fund is verified, all you need to do for me is to let me know when you will be available so that they can come and pick it up from your address.Do get back to me with your full name and address plus your reachable phone number as it will be written on the check so that, i can forward it to my finance house to prepare your check on your name and also negotiate the shipping cost with my shipping company.

Anything that involves someone paying you via Western Union, paying more than you're asking, having an "agent" pick the car up, having you cash a certified check for the car + shipping and having you pay the shipper, etc, etc, etc, are scams.  Anytime you advertise a car for sale on the internet, you'll get several of these offers.

I still have one of the infamous "Checks" from an individual that responded to  the ad I placed on "The Samba" when we started to sell Copper Jewel the first time. Stupid Nigerian Scammers. At least it cost him postage!!! LOL
