Buddy Hackett has passed away.  Buddy played the part of Tennessee Steinmetz, the enlightened welder/mechanic who was the first person to recognize that Herbie had a personality in the original 1969 movie, "Herbie The Love Bug."  If that had been the only performance of his career, he would have, in my book, been a very successfull entertainer.
