I also would like to thank everyone for the Fantastic Show this weekend. Driving down from Aurora, IL(near Chicago) 635 miles one way. I spent over $350 in gas and still found it worth it. I'm sure I'll be down next year and hope to convince a few more to come out and play also.
I was neighbors with Lamar and Cindy for the weekend as I opted for the quiet subdivision with full hook-ups.
I got to meet a few of you that I get to chat with here in the forums and enjoyed all of you(even The Godfather). I'll get to you in a minute.
As for the show, great turn-out, great weather, you couldn't have asked for better. Lots of vendors, I even found a couple good deals on some parts I needed for the Wife's Square Back. Everyone I met was really pleasant, except for the idiot that was in the Fifth Wheel who came down to my subdivision and threw gravel everywhere with his Dub. I hope your reading this buddy, you'll impress more people by driving more responsible around us other Dubbers. It's all about respect!
Anyways, David, glad to finally meet you. Even though you didn't wear the t-shirt I gave you from our last years show from Harsh Winters "Bug-a-Palooza 3". I'll understand if you use it to clean up oil spills in the driveway  . Hey, I thought you were going to give me a Kudzu plant for up here in IL? That's OK, I understand if you forgot, I know that the age thing might let things slip your mind every now and then.
Sunday night, still camping, now moved down to where Eddie was at with his tent inside the fence. Went to bed around 10pm. Woke up to a Semi truck parked outside the camper. NOTE: I'm NOT complaining. It's 1:45am and someone is outside working on the flat tire on the Shower Van. This is how things have to get done sometimes, things that others take for granted. Looking out the window, this tire is giving this guy one heck of a time. I get my sweats on and venture out to see if I could help him. By the time I got out there he had the tire reseated on the rim again. Who is this dedicated couple out here at now 2:15 in the morning still dragging equipment home?? This is where I formally meet Kyle and Betty, and thier two English Bulldogs. This is the type of dedication that makes these shows happen, and I'm sure this is only one part of the scene.
Well, anyways, I made it home as you see by my post. 13 hour drive. I'm tired. Thanks for everything.
Big Joe
