Playing Video games earlier, Megan and I hear a horrible noise. We thought it was thunder, but when it stopped, I hear noise in the yard. Looked out and a pick-up slid off the road into my yard. I went outside just in time to see the driver fall out of the truck. He bails and tells the passenger to take care of it. Some lady gave him a ride home. Now his grand-nephew is stuck with a wrecked truck in my yard having to explain why he smells of booze and the truck is off the road. The amazing part is that the kid was completely honest and no one got arrested. They didn't even try to find the driver, even though he could win the "dumbest criminal" award for showing back up after the cops gave the kid the all clear. There were no negative repercussions of this evening.
So if your vehicle stops because it can't find its own way home from the bar, get out and walk; the cops won't give you a DUI.
