Okay, the new site design is comming along just fine! (Flash is a little annoying but I'm getting used it.) Unforuntly until I get more into Flash, a lot of the parts from the old site are going to stay up. So Travis' hard work won't be forgoten for lone! ^_^ Okay, so the problem: I need a sound of a VW Horn. Herb mentioned a website with one, but you know me! -_- I can't remember anything. So help remembering where this site is would be GREATLY apprichated! Thanks again! ^o^

Hey Austin, look at Bus Depot

Also, I thought we were talking about getting the sound of a precious VW engine running?

What exactly are you doing in Flash? The whole site won't be flash, will it?

No, I don't think we are doing whole site in flash, what we talked about was an entrance screen with a lot more punch than we have now utilizing Flash.  I would like to see the body of the site look much more dynamic including a nicer menu to be used on each page.

I agree with most that our site is very generic, I have told everyone regularly that I'm NOT a web designer, I'm a Land Surveyor/Draftsman and I think our site reflects my technical drawing/Civil Engineering background in it's simplicity.  However, I will add my personal opinion that I don't feel we need a website that changes the world, does everything under the moon, takes forever to load (for those with dreaded dial-up).  The purpose of this place on the WWW is to put a face to our club for people interested or just surfing around, it needs to be clear and easy to navigate.  Austin has graciously stepped up and offered to add some panache, but all idea's and/or contributions are welcome :)

Thanks Volks, Travis

Good. I don't have Flash installed on this computer, and I'd hate to have to do so just for one site.
