You don't have to.  From what I understand, you can get a green/brown* hat, Susie can get a pink/purple* hat, Joe can get a black/grey* hat, Billy Bob can get a teal/fuscia* hat, etc.  We just have to get a minimum of 24 hats (total) at a time.

I may be wrong, but that's what I understand from my hat guy...

*color combinations pulled out of my head

Had some communication this morning.  He still has not received the completed hats back from the seamstress.  He is going to call me this afternoon and update me.  He has this suspicion that his boss has not paid the seamstress for other work as of yet and she is holding off until he does.  I'm just glad that no money has left my hands yet.

I got the call today.  I will have the hats tomorrow evening.  
Two of the hats have volksfolks.com on the tightening strap.  He made them before he realized it should have been volksfolks.org.  I think I am going to keep one of those hats...anyone else want the other "limited edition" hat?

I will be picking the hats up around 2pm today.  I will definately have them for the cruise-in, for the monthly meeting, any time before then, and available for mailing when the post offices are open. :D

CopperJewel and Bugz...to make it easier, I will go ahead and send the hats your way.  Just send me a check for $12 plus whatever the postage meter says it takes to mail it to you.  I don't anticipate more than $2 shipping.
Make sure your address is correct in your member profile...

I also have a few samples of a keychain fob with our logo on it.  Will post pics soon.

Hats are in the ever-loving care of the USPS.  It cost $1.75 to ship.  Just send a check in the amount of $13.75 ($12 for hat + $1.75 for the snail mail) my way. My mailing address is in the member's only contact information area.

:D  :D  I once again reiterate that it is because of this type action by the members of the Volksfolks that I became a member. I know there are other fine clubs out there but this club is GREAT!!!!  

For those of you who are not members and want a great club to be a part of, this is it! No false fronts or big I's here, only good down to earth people who have a good time. (Family style too)

 Travis I will get the check out when I get home in the morning. I got so busy with things going on here at work with shutdowns and paperwork and just plain forgot to send the check like I said I would.

Aww, shucks.  Ain't nothin'.

I am coming to the cruise-in tonight and will bring the hats.  I'm not so sure I will be able to come to the meeting on Monday,  :shock: so if you want a hat sooner than later, bring a couple of extra dead presidents with you tonight.
