Scenic City Camaro Club

« on: May 12, 2013, 09:45:09 PM »
My brother has a '92 Camaro and he just let me know a new club is organizing in Chattanooga, known as the Scenic City Camaro Club. While it is not VW related, I'm sure we can all appreciate and support the formation of a new club in town. They plan to organize events and donate the proceeds to local charities and causes, like we do.

They're also sponsored by Mountain View Chevrolet and they've begun by having their meetings there. Sound familiar?

Their website is http://www.sceniccitycamaroclub.com/ and their Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scenic-City-Camaro-Club/425971784136538

Yes it does!  Most car clubs go under within a couple of years . . . Here's wishing The Scenic City Camaro Club beats the odds and lives a long and fruitful life!

I wish them luck and have as much as we have. I bought a 1969 Z-28 new and wished I still had it. That was a fun car. Loved that "can of BB's" sound that Bad boy made.  My first wife couldn't drive a 4 speed so I traded it for a 1969 350 SS. Nice car but was not as fun to drive. One of the worse mistake I ever made. I paid $3,500 for that Z-28 new from Adcox-Kirby. Oh well .

I know.  Sort of like like my very first car that actually ran .  1940 Mercury convertible . It was in pretty good shape for my $145 spent.  Found out later after it was sold that there were only 529 built in 1940. Saw one in Hemmings a few years ago in a box for $27,000.   2nd year for Mercury. I just can't win ;D
