East Ridge Ramada Reopens Next Month

It was April 3rd last year when drivers along Interstate 75 saw clouds of smoke billowing into the air near the East Ridge, Tennessee.  The Ramada Inn just off the Interstate was ablaze.  Fire destoyed a whole wing of the Hotel.
Now the Inn is about to reopen. Workers tell us the Ramada is schedulded to open next month, on February 9th. The Ramada will be a bit smaller than it was before last years fire. It will now feature 88 rooms, down from the pre-fire number of 144 rooms.  Some of the workers will return, others have found new jobs.
