quality air cooled mechanic

« on: November 01, 2008, 07:34:53 PM »
i will be bringing my 72 karmann ghia coupe to her new home in Chattanooga in a week and, as with every new move, she will need a good physician.  I would appreciate any advice you could give me regarding a mechanic who knows his stuff and works quickly.  Also, i will be looking to do some restoration/body work within the year and would love some suggestions on where to take my little Karmann.  i cant wait to get to TN and meet some other vw enthusiasts.

There is a link of local shops on the home page if that helps. Plus a few club members work on them as well. My advice is to attend some club functions and ask some questions after that it should all fall into place for you.
