They are fixing up a 1965 21 window. It's on right now, but it re-airs at 1:00 AM tonight if you want to set your DVR.

I had to work until 11:00 and I'm off today, so I stayed up and watched it at 1:00 . . . The did a high quality job on it, but you could tell by what they did to it, they aren't really "VW" folks.  The extra skylight windows and the white over red over white paint job were a little too much for my taste.  Of course, if someone took this old rusty '66 sitting in my yard and did that to it, I wouldn't complain TOO much!

I really don't mind the reverse paint job as much as what they did to the front...removed the emblem and replaced it with the script that goes on the rear hatch?

I prefer the fried eggs in the stock position too.

They changed the rear lights why not bullet the front? Eh to each his own the show woulda been over when dude smashed a hammer through the window.  At least for him.  I liked the before better. I kept fighting the urge to kringe at several points.
The front emblem, the crest and trim, the sheetmeatel in the floor?Honestly they couldnt get bus sheet metal in Cali? Not to mention the 5 minute autozone commercial too!
