News about the Mathews' Clan.

« on: November 15, 2013, 02:32:57 PM »
OK,
Some of you may have noticed that I have been cleaning the driveway down a bit here as of late... Well there is a reason for that, Tiff and I are expecting another little girl in December.

I didn't spring the news back in the summer, because I have been frantically trying to sell all my project VW's in order to spend more time with Tiff and the Girls before the Baby gets here, and afterwards.  Didn't want to appear that I was in a had to sell situation. Back in June when I got the Ghia vert I promised I would have all the projects gone in a few months... Well it has happened, I am clean and project free at this point.  We are an all VW family now with the Routan, Passat and the Ghia. The Ghia sleeps in the garage, and is truly a show car at this point.

Sold the last project (a 1983 Yota 4X4) last week...
I did keep a T1 bus engine and a T4 bus engine as spares, and have alot of parts in the building, but for now I am content being a 1 old car family.

I will get back into dragging, fixing, and flipping VW's at some point, but for now I am going to chill-lax with the family.

Yes, for those of you that are counting this is our 4th and is another Girl!
So, if you do not see me around as often or do see me with the zombie look of no sleep, then you will know why.

Just thought I should (finally) share the good news.
KC

You do know what's causing all of 'em, right?!?! Better be careful 'cause they already have you WAY out numbered!!!

Have a nice vacation from you VW projects.... you won't be gone long.

Just as an update on my past few weeks:
At the beginning of the month Tiff and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary, the next week I graduated (walked) for my MBA diploma, then Lydia  was born on 18 Dec @ 8lbs 9oz, and 21 inches long, this week was Christmas and next week is New Years , it has been a busy December...
Now we cannot even fit into the passat anymore! Looking at a eurovan for the clan with the routan being the main grocery getter.  Mom and baby are doing great and baby is healthy and eats like a horse. The past week has been chaotic and I have neglected to update but we are truly blessed to have her here safe and sound.
I had forgotten how sleep deprived you get those last few weeks of pregnancy, I just now feel human again. Keep us in your prayers, I am getting to old for this. KC
Merry Christmas my friends...

Congrats! That's exciting to hear. We got unfortunate news last weekend from Megan's twin. She ended up losing one at 9 weeks pregnant. Megan felt the pains and its been sad all around. It's made us more thankful for the nephews we already have.

Glad to hear the new one arrived safely and all is well. Count your blessings and figure out what is causing all those girls!!!
