New VW Van - Aerodynamically correct

Volkswagen unveiled their newest version of the Microbus Concept. As you can see, engineers have been working a lot of overtime trying to make the New Bus more aerodynamic. Notice the fins are designed to keep the Bus in contact with the road, yet the front apron is designed to give it lift. The equalling balance of the two improvements negate each other, therefore making them immediately obsolete.
Volkswagen hopes to appeal to aquatic sealife with this model. Rumor has it that the first bid to build the new version is none other than Sea World of Orlando... :tounge2:

I still think the headlights should be round.

My bet is that it will be a miserable failure unless they give it round headlights.
It's gotta have round headlights! If not, it's just another minivan.

What about the windows? Don't we remember the 21 or 23-window models as the Deluxe......
obviously
this is the deluxe model as it must be able to go
very
fast (don't you know that each wing on any car gives it an extra 10hp (ones larger than 12" give 20hp) ask any of those kids driving around! :devilwink:

I don't think that is even really a Volkswagen. If it is, maybe we need to re-think our obsession. :inlove:

I'm not sure about the rest, but the front grille and windshield are from a Toyota Previa. It's sitting next to an older Toyota van.

Ok, ok. It' not really the new microbus concept. It is from a Japanese car show and it was probably located nowhere near Germany.
But VW should look into it. It has potential, I think... slam :coolshades:
