I've heard that we have access to interstaes, they don't there land is already graded and ours isn't.  We have better resources for some things, but they have local schools with new robotics operation courses, stuff like that.  Bottom line, I hope we get it, but we always seem to come up short because we need to be more pro-active vs re-active.

An article on the Huntsville newspaper's web site says that Chattanooga's incentive package was worth more $$$ than Huntsville's which caught everyone in AL offguard . . . keep your fingers crossed . . .

Huntsville has had close ties with Germany for years.  Several of the best German engineers lived and worked in Huntsville for years after WWII . . . I don't know that gives them any advantage, but when an engineer or manager from VW Ag is visiting, Huntsville has a Space Museum to show off how the US put a man on the moon . . . when they come to Chattanooga, we can show off how we moved freight and people with steam powered locomotives 100 years ago.  I don't know if that counts for anything or not . . .

Who knows !!    Maybe they will go back to Westmoreland PA. where they can let  the UAW screw up things big time building JUNK Rabbits like they did in the early '80s.
My '83 GTI was the only new car that I  bought that PAINT was considered an option.  Getting VW to re-paint my car was like pulling teeth. Thank goodness I knew the tech. Rep in Atlanta very well.

Oh, I wish they would move here.  I could handle a $20 an hour cushy maintenance job.
