Hey ! That is good news. Somebody must have threaten a class action suit. Thats how you get something done in the the auto business. I saw that happen in the '80s over the Rabbit oil burning era.

Lamar said Cindy had a long talk with them about her transmission . . . I don't think class action suit came up in that conversataion, but they obviously figured out she wasn't happy!

The factory isn't even opened yet and the Volks Folks are making a positive impact on VW's customer service reputation.

as we normally do, I'll be up there for the show. It won't be until the 21st or 22nd though. If anyone wants to visit Detroit, Jan is a nice month to go!

What in the cat hair would make Detroit a fun place to go much less in Jan? Inquisitive minds want know.

I would rather go to the "Windy City" and see the Field Museum . At least they have a German U-Boot (Boat) parked in the front yard. But it ain't going to be Jan.

Clearly you haven't visited Detroit in Jan! There is the uh...warm weather... and snow.... you get to pay $3 to check your coat everywhere you go...or carry it. Parking spaces??? They save those for when school is out! Plus, the color grey looks so lovely ON EVERYTHING! I've never seen such a lack of color before.

I can't wait to go back!

My mother's family is still heavily rooted in the Detroit and Troy area. I was up there several years ago, and the biggest memory for me was my dad and i had a bet going how many parts would actually fall off of our rental car before we turned it in having driven over the mutilated highways.

their roads make you understand why american cars are big float boats. It's no wonder Cadillacs are known for their smooth ride. A stiff suspension will beat you to death on the frost cracks every 10'.
