A vicious rumor is floating that two of our members bought New Beetles this past weekend. One is reported to be a Riveria Blue Pearl and the other is rumored to be a Double Yellow. It is also my understanding a 1984 GTI Rabbit was bought last week also. Is there any truth to these stories? :devil:

:lookaround: Remember that first Show 'n Shine at VW of Chattanooga (July of '98)? What did we have there . . . less than a half dozen water-cooled VWs?
We might need to start thinking about adding some more water-cooled classes for BP-5!

Is there any photographic evidence?
I've looked in the Photo Gallery and there is none.
Hopefully they will be in the "Show us your VW" section soon if these rumors end-up being fact.

We would love to put the cars pictures up on the message board but we don't have a digital camera to take the pictures. Maybe we'll get one someday. :p

I will confess. Dee bought the Riveria Blue Pearl Beetle and our daughter bought a 1984 GTI Rabbit! We are all tickled with our new rides. I will try and get pics of "DBUG" this weekend. Our son Travis hasn't even seen them yet. :thumbs-up:
