Does anybody have a 6 to 12 volt starter bushing? I really really need one. I can can get one after Christmas,but would like to get the starter in before then.I appreciate any help. Thanks. Pm me or call my cell 423-991-1519.

Here are the 4 types of starter bushings, showing the various sizes and comparing them to one another:

Upper Left: 6 volt transmission case, to be used with a 6 volt starter. Often called a straight 6 bushing.
Upper Right: 12 volt transmission case, to be used with a 6 volt starter. Often called a 12-to-6 bushing.
Lower Left: 12 volt transmission case, to be used with a 12 volt starter. Often called a straight 12 bushing.
Lower Right: 6 volt transmission case, to be used with a 12 volt starter. Often called a 6-to-12 bushing.

I only found the bottom left one I think. I know I don't have the bottom right. I am sorry. I thought I did but no luck. Hopefully they will be open tomorrow. Or you can go to autzone and for $40 get an autostick starter and be done. I just recently did this on my bus- no more bushing! Lifetime warranty too... Good deal, cause I'll probably cash in on it sooner than later!
