Thanks for all your good thoughts. Roadkill felt them and is back here in Chattanooga where he belongs. I did put new valve cover gaskets on and a new fuel filter and air filter because they needed to be replaced. I did find the Big problem of the oil loss. I replaced the drivers side valve cover gasket and when i got to the passenger's side i found that the valve cover was really loose. I could not get it to tighten up with the clip thing for nothing so i did what i could and then filled it with oil. I started back and stoped for gas about trenton ga and looked and saw that it was just almost running out. so i checked the oil level and came home. I did not stop once till my driveway and then it just dumped out there. So he is home and ready for some work to be done.
