I need to pull what's left of Joy's convertible out of what's left of the garage before 7:30 AM tomorrow morning. I've got a guy coming with a back hoe to knock the rest of the walls and roof down. We decided first thing Sunday morning was the best time due to traffic . . . the end of the garage that is still standing sits on sidewalk on South Main Street. Although I don't think it would hurt Sunny to drop a wall and roof down on top of him, I think it will make the job easier if it wasn't there. I've got lots of Beetle rims, but since the fire, none of them have tires on them. If someone has a set 4 lug rims with tires they could loan me for a day or two, I'd really appreciate it. The rims don't have be straight and the tires only need to hold air for a few minutes at a time.
Also, if anyone wants to try to salvage any VW parts from the rubble, come get it. Most of the parts are scrap, but there is a lot of good type 1 tin that could be cleaned up and re-used. There might even be a few rebuildable heads if you wanted to try to dig them out.
