Need Swap-A-Paluza Vendor Info

« on: January 05, 2003, 03:18:03 AM »
If anyone has it, can you please post the contact info for the guy that was at Swap-A-Paluza with all the rebuilt starters & generators and such?  I had his card but can't find it now.  I can't recall his name . . . seems like he was from somewhere in Alabama.

He has new voltage regulators for the old one-wire Motorola alternators.  I had been looking for one for 2 years or more!  Before our swap meet, the closest I'd came to finding one was finding someone who said, "I know what you're looking for but I haven't seen one in 10 years!"  I had planned to order one from him the day after the show, but when I got home I searched high and low and couldn't find the alternator, so I forgot about it.

Well, today, I was cleaning out my Baja (in my yard, anything that sits in one spot over 48 hours and sheds water is a storage building) and at the bottom of the stack was Bosch alternator box . . . with the Motorola alternator in it!  So, I'm once again looking for the regulator for it.
