SCOTT, There were a few members who got stopped at the gate. Remember, these were "Fuzzy Tail Red Hat Dudes"  They a were little near-sighted and deaf. Maybe you looked like a terroist. Come to think of....................... :lol:  :lol:

I got stopped at the gates several times myself until I finally had one of the guys stamp my hand!!  I recognized you...noticed that you were one of the watercooled judges...knew you were a member.

Don't feel bad about that.  Those volunteers were with the Shriners, not the Volks Folks. I helped organize the first meeting of the club, I've served as treasurer, president, vice president and show committee chairman and since February of 1998 when we had our first meeting, I've only missed one (1) monthly meeting.  I had to get my hand stamped so they would stop harrassing me every time I went through the gate.   :roll:

The good news is, the officers have disscussed this issue and have a resolution to the problem.  It won't happen to ANYONE next year!  We'll discuss more about this later at meetings and in the members only section of the board.

67bugnut, I hate being last but welcome to the club and the forums. I didn't make Octoberfest this past year and as for the show.............what show?.............did we have a show?.........when was it?................seems like I dreamed something about a show.....................oh well..........maybe I can be there next year. :lol:  :lol:  :lol:
