What do the new ones drive like and be honest.Do they have any of the old issues or are the gone for now?How many horses can you get now and ac wise dues it cut the power substancially?The general public wants to know! The New Beetle is a great car to drive in factory form. It has tight steering and a slightly firm suspension. You can take them into the corners at a nice rate of speed, but the tail will start to wiggle if you push it to hard. Stock horsepower depending on engine ranges from 90 - 180. I just saw a modified 1.8T New Beetle last week that put down 330 to the wheels. Some New Beetles have cleared the 650 mark with twin turbos. They are a fun car to tune. Mine drive like a go-kart with the upgraded suspension, sway bars, wide body, and such. The New Beetle is a completely different car than the old bug, so the old issues don't apply. New Beetle's have a whole new set of issues, hehe.
