Volkswagen has sponsored one of the MLS teams. It happens to be DC United, the team in the nation's capital. I caught the end of the DC vs LA game since it was on before today's Euro 08 final between Germany and Spain which is fixing to come on.

They had all sorts of VWs in the stadium at the DC United game including a Beetle much like the ones they are using in the current advertising. Also the DC United jerseys have big VW symbol on them if anyone is interested.
