I park the notchback underneath the deck in the back yard and I bought a generic car cover at Target for $30 to help keep it protected. The other day I noticed that the front was ripped wide open, and when I looked at it closer it looks as if the sun had just baked and disintegrated the poor cover. The pieces left crumbled in my hand they were so brittle.
Since the sun shines brightest on that side of the house, I'm planning on hanging a tarp from the deck to help shield it. But I was wondering what a good car cover to get would be. I don't mind paying a little more for one that's not a generic one, but then again the fitted custom ones from
California Car Cover are pretty pricey. Is there a good middle-of-the-road one to get?
