Katie's Promotion Day

My oldest daughter graduated from elementary school Friday!  It's on to middle school next year...

Man, i feel like an old fart....

I can still remember having her in a car seat, tiny and delicate, showing her off to David at his house... :roll:

She received an award plaque for Star Honor Roll for the school year, a medal for perfect attendance for the year, performed a couple songs with the chourus.... All less than a month from having won the best of show award for the Ganns Middle Valley Elementary Science Fair and turning eleven.... she's having a pretty darned good month.... :wink:

They're actually both my hats, she snatched the black one on the way out the door and put it on....

I asked her when i was getting ready which shirt i should wear with my brown pants... the white one or the green one,,, she said the green one made me look like a tree, and that was ridiculous, and she would not have a daddy there who looked like a tree..... :roll:

Smartass.... but, she comes by it naturally.... :lol:
