the fuel pump relays did go out alot,  also had one that looked like it had a good german fuse only to find out it was bunt agianst the contact point and working some of time

Why don't you just take a BIG hammer and go out and beat the snot out of every panel , run it into a ditch and maybe a tree. Then you won't have to worry about the Kids tearing the poor thing up any worst than it is already.
