Y'all know this log cabin I've been talking about buying? I met the seller today for the first time at the closing. Well, it was the first time I was formaly introduced. The first time I put a face with the name.
I actually met him at the Labor Day car show last year. I've ran into him and talked to him at several VW shows since then. He's been planning on joining the Volks Folks for the past few months, but hasn't been able to make it to a meeting yet. The last time I talked to him was Sunday in Decatur, AL at the Bug'n in July show. When I ran into him this afternoon in front of the title company's office we talked for a couple of minutes about the show this past weekend and other VW stuff and he went inside. A couple of minutes later Joy showed up and we went inside. We were standing in the lobby talking VWs again when our realitor stepped in and said "So y'all know each other?" All at once we both realized that I was buying the house he was selling!
