Important Birthdays in VW History

« on: September 03, 2010, 10:12:18 AM »
135 years ago today, Dr. Ferdinand Porsche was born.  Without him, there wouldn't have been a "People's Car" . . . at least not the one we know and love.

The Bay Window bus started rolling off the line on this date 43 years ago (1967).

Weellllll, never realized those two events shared the same day. Happy birthday, Dr. Porsche.

And you too, Mr. bubble window.
