i've never had any success with zipping anything anywhere... i tried again and it still says cannot access as anonymous user or something like that... which is why i didnt do it... i'd upload them to my site but i need to clean it off first

why not just give me access to upload them to the gallery? or do you not want all the pics? i will have more in a couple of weeks from huntsville and high country... or if someone wants to copy them at those shows and then you can upload them?

i'm not real in to things that get too complicated as i dont have enough time in the day to get the things i HAVE to get done accomplished.

You need to use "anonymous@volksfolks.org" for the username and no password. Upload to the incoming directory, or you could upload them somewhere else and send me the link.

You have access to upload to the gallery, just log in with your forum username/password. But if you have as many as you say you do, a batch upload will be much easier. You can only upload one at a time otherwise.

an hour later you have a few hundred pics to sift through... now where do you go to see these pics? or do you get the pleasure of doing something with them? i included bugapaluza, vws over the skyway, bugout 59, funfest, volksmas in july, and any other pictures closely related to these... there are still a couple hundred of my trip pics that i didnt include between bugout and funfest... but i included the chattanooga portion of the pics...

i told ya i like to take pics... they are resized but still make for big files... i hope you have room for them all!

There's plenty of room, so don't bother resizing them. I'll get them imported into the gallery shortly. Thanks!

well i resized them anyhow as the pics i take are over a meg each... this way i only uploaded about 30-40 megs or so... which is a lot quicker than several hundred... i only have DSL and it is taking like 45 min to upload them all!

i didn;t really sift through much of the pics... i took out some of my friends that were in there cause i dunno that they want to be oon the web... but you've pretty much got 99% of my vw related trip pics... i didnt include the st louis train museum or the statue park... i can upload those tonight if you all are interested in them...

from what i have seen of the gallery though, you guys dont take pics... and i probably just double the size of it :shock:

You will take lots of photos at High Country, I know.  The setting is just photo friendly.

i think i forgot to post the volksmas in july pics yesterday... though there arent many cause i was hung over and on 1 hour of sleep and it was a small show anyhow... but hey they're there!
