My 13 mile trip to work from LaFayette to Chickamauga turned into a nearly 2 hour drive through backroads to near Ringgold, to East Ridge, back down to Fort Oglethorpe and then down to Chickamauga. I got there just as they were opening up the Hwy. 27 Chickamauga Creek bridge. I could have slept another hour and half and got there about the same time and not burnt near as much gas . . . but I didn't get wet and I had a job to go to, so I'm not complaining.
By the way, if you are in the market for a camper or motorhome, Shipps will probably cut you a good deal on one! Their whole lot was flooded this morning when I was passing by.
Hope everyone else made it through the high water without incident!
