One of the ads i have never owned, but have seen several times.  Think of Homer every time i see it.   

The more I look at it, the more I think zen did this on purpose.

Yep, that ad was the inspiration, but it wasn't exactly my idea.  Jesse saw the ad when he was two and wanted me to paint Homer like the "Super Bus" so I said OK.  Two years later I put a windshield in and cleaned  up the rust  . . .  and it finally grew into the whole front end being flat black primer.  I was admiring how cool it looked and turned around to see a 4 year old wth his hands on his hips giving me the "look" . . . and then he said "You told me if you ever painted Homer you would paint him like the super bus."  My quick reply was I am.  That's just the Primer.  Let's go to Wal-Mart and get the paint.  Homer's been the superbus ever since.
