Read the title. YES, it's true this time. AND, for the first time since I've owned him, Homer has turn signals, tail lights and brake lights that you can actually see. They are brand new, housings, lenses and all. Not only that, but my back yard is well on it's way to being cleaned up and organized.
How did all this happen? Well it wasn't due to my hard work. Nick, William showed up around noon and got busy, Matthew joined in the fun after a little while. These guys worked their butts off today. I would have never gotten started without them . . . much less make this kind of progress. Hopefully I'll be able to repay the favor some day. Until then, these guys have my eternal gratitude!
Still some work to do . . . Lot's of mold was uncovered today inside Homer; gott'a work on that. The brake pedal goes all the way to floor and the fluid reservior is dry; Looks like some brake work is in order. I think I'm going to have to spring for a new carb . . . William tried his best, but finally through in the towel after the third carburator. It starts and runs, but doesn't want to idle when it warm. Homer will see y'all at the Sonic for the 4th of July cruise-in!
