Hey Guy's

« on: April 14, 2007, 11:24:23 AM »
I have been off the air for a little while.Found out I had stage 4 cancer that is eating me from brain to toe. But I'm going to beat it with all your prayers because that is all I have left to fight with.I hope you will help me with this endeaver.I have been out of work for 3 years not knowing what it was, even with a hospital with the best equipment.I want to be able to stay in the VW group of people like yourselves.I have so many bolt onparts sitting in my garage and no energy to give it a try for right now.I know how I have alway's enjoyed reading about all of ya'lls trials and tribulations and brought a smile to my face.So I have been between disability and no job. That hurts ouch! The government is a hard force to deal with. With a brush of a pen mark you go back to the end of the line and wait.If something were to happen to me before this came through it would knock my wife and two children a loop because once you pass on everything stops. And Gold bless them they are going to need finances before this happens. So I have had to pull all liqiuid equity to the front for evaluation and everything I have is new or better.I have new part's haven't even open yet by Bugpack.Lord Lord.Ok just a little prayer David, 67, Herb,Pres.Ok ,I'm gone for now.Go home tonight and grab the people you love and go and tell them how much you love them because there may not be a better time.I see how fast things can happen now and wished I sure did. Well I'm making up for it now.Been wanting to do it.Called New Years Eves Promises to yourselves.Go for it if you really love them! Thanks for letting me do this here. (65Dunebuggy)

John,
I don’t even personally know you, but as I read your post, tears came to my eyes. It’s so hard to believe the way news like this can change yours and your family’s lives so drastically. I will be praying for you and your loved ones as you travel through your journeys.
Sincerely,
Joe Hauge

That's a hard thing to deal with,I hope everything works out.As for the government I assure you I completely understand how it is to deal with them. If there's any thing I can do for you feel free to ask. Financially it can hurt just as much selling off your prized possesions for something like this.I've done it for similar reasons before. Dont take it to hard they can always be replaced where you can not.
Take care and keep in touch.

Hang in there and don't give up!  If there is anything any of us can do for you, don't hesitate to ask!  Where do you live?  For some reason I'm thinking Talking Rock . . . is that right?  If so, I think I'll be passing through that area in a few weeks . . . maybe I can stop by and finally meet you in person.   8)  We are wishing you the best and you'll be in our prayers!  Hope to see you soon.

Hi John, I haven't been on here for a while but I personally can tell you, it's not over til it's over. I'm a cancer survivor for 7 years now (colon), But I've always been lucky for some reason like that. Veit Nam, triple bypass heart surgery, 25 years with the police department working a special job during most of that time, then the cancer. I've been a fighter all of my life and I think that is what it takes. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will remember you in prayer.

Herb
