Help with photo

Can anyone tell me if I am correct?  This looks like a late model body with early fenders and possibly early trunk and apron.  What do you think?  I have been wanting this to be my final result of my restoration.

Due to the vent windows, I would say that this body is a '65---'66 and if so the fenders would be correct already.  I don't think that I missed anything. A '67 bug can be converted to the early headlights.
I don't see how people keep real axle bearings in these swing axle trannys . There is no way that they can get very much lube. I guess if you went around corners at 100 mph you could sling the lube up hill.  I can only guess how much stress is put on the bearings and the rear drums. Just think how much fun it would when one of your drum/tire passes you on the interstate. I think if I was going to "Slam" one that much I would use a IRS rear end
