Help with moving

« on: October 29, 2008, 11:05:02 PM »
Anyone with a truck and able body available to help me move some things on Sunday? Got a few big items and lots of small things to move. I have a trailer that smaller things can be boxed up and put on, but there is an entertainment center, big TV, kitchen table and chairs, computer desk, train table, doll house, book case, etc.  In other words, things I can't move by myself and want to put in the bed of a truck instead of on a bouncy trailer.
Just let me know.  I was thinking about around noon.

The old house is at 3702 Prospect Church Road, Ooltewah, TN.  The new place is at 1114 Mitchell Rd. SE, Cleveland, TN. Mitchell Road is actually just a few miles north of the GA/TN border off of Hwy. 60.

The distance between the two is only about 13 miles, but it takes 25-30 minutes to travel because of the lovely country roads.

GoogleMap the addresses to see with your own ocular orbs.

I bought some VW parts off of a lady on Prospect Church Road.  Her son had placed an ad on Craigslist about a garage sale.  Turns out, my wife and her mom knew the lady pretty well.  Small world.

Travis, my truck has a cap on it but I do have a golf cart trailer that we could use if you want.  Kyle has the van also.  It holds more than you think it would.

Oh really. That's where my parts went.
I had made a deal with...oh,  never mind.  :-# T'was a long and drawn out story...been trying to forget about the whole thing. :-({|= Not going to bring it up again...

Thanks, Betty. I guess if we strap down the things I was hoping to put in the bed of a truck to keep them from bouncing around, that would be ok.

Brian came by with the biggest enclosed trailer and we were able to get all the big stuff moved.
Kyle came over and helped too.
Thank you both for your help.
And Crystal...thank you for helping carry stuff in to the new place.  You were a help as well.
