Hello new VW friends

Hello everyone. My wife and I (and son) have joined the VW family. This is our first rif\de, so we are new at everything VW. We have a 72 Type II. It needs lots of attention and I hope that we can give her what she needs. We have yet to name her. I am sure that I will have many many questions to ask while I am working on the bus. I hope that I can get some help and advice. Hope to meet many of you soon!

Welcome to the family! Yes, you'll gets lots of
advice lol (and most of it will be good!). As for
"many, many questions" see the "Help with a slow
starter" thread in Tech Questions :lol:

Hey ! Welcome aboard, You have found the best bunch of VW nuts around. Help abounds. Looking forward to meeting you and your family.
You will find that our forum is a very fun and crazy place to hang out and where a lot of good natured fun is poked about. Nobody is safe in here :lol: so be prepared and remember that the only "Dumb Sounding" question is the one thats not asked. We seem to have a abunance of VW vans and 'Westys" and dang if they don't seem to enjoy them, so you will be taken care of. No doubt about that.

Welcome into our forums AND the VW family. It is a relationship that will make your friends "green" with envy. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Nobody waved a magic wand around and gave all of us all of the answers. (Except for maybe the Godfather) Even though some of us have been into Volkswagens for a while, questions still come up. Hope to see you at a meeting real soon.

WORK WORK WORK has had me tied up. I've got a lot of Big projects going I'm just starting to see the light.

I wanted to come up to Jim's but you know christmas is just around the corner so I stayed away. Just got me a new rail buggy about a hour ago. You know one of those deals you just can't pass up
