Heading Back.

« on: February 11, 2010, 12:35:30 AM »
Well i did not think it would happen this fast but it looks like i might be heading back to the clubs area. Not sure if it will be Chattanooga or possibly Alabama ( Fort Payne area ). It would happen with in the next 4 months. So i guess i need to start looking for a project any ideas anyone knows of. A bug is prefered but other vw's are ok. Don't have a lot too pay so no show cars...........  :D

Along those lines KC. Just wish ya had the 1973 Ghia still. I really wanted it but could not figure how to get it here to work on. However it has a good home with Rick. Although i may have to go by and talk him out of it... . He may need the extra money for the double cab rebuild.

I will look ya up when we get back and see what ya have to deal on. I knew that north alabama has a vw club but have not really checked into it so far. If i don't get back to chattanooga north alabama is just a short drive away.

EVERYTHING is always for sale.....

Except the double cab.

I do like the Ghia, I just need to find some time to fix the holes that are the floor.  I fail to have the proper motivation when it's 20 degrees outside.

Could be worse . . . it could be 20 below with 4 feet of snow on the ground and more on the way . . .  :D  Every time flip past the weather channel, it makes me glad we are having such a "mild" winter here in the south!    8)

you guys are having a mild winter this year. When i got up this morning it was 8 degrees. We also have gotton 56 inches of snow so far were the average is 18.6 so far. I still have 31 inches of that on my yard and am expecting about 5 more inches this weekend. What fun. If i can work out all the small bits to move back i will be lucky but i think may keep me her a bit longer. It aways does with my luck. Here are some pics i took of my house and yard with our snow.

Yes KC i have a garage. It is big enough to put at least 4 beetles in it if done right. I just need one to be happy right now. Of course i will have to leave out one of my other vehicles then because they are both bigger than beetles. Maybe both if i tear it down.

Like i said i will see if things work out on the move but there is always those stupid little things in the paperwork etc that slow it down.

There was an error while liking
