Thanks everybody!  It was a wild and woolly one.  I had plans to go in early this morning and get my 40 hours in by 2 (1 Central Time) which would have given me enough time to get to Antique Archeolgy in Nashville in time to meet Mike Wolfe (American Picker) in person.  Well, I woke up in just enough time to rush through the shower, get dressed and get to work 4 minutes late.  Oh well, I still should have been able to get out of there by 3 . . . then my mom called . . . My aunt who lives in Lavoina, GA (I-85 right at the SC line) had called 911 because she had a stroke.  Needless to say, mom was a little upset.  She said she was too upset to drive and wanted me to drive her to the Stevens County Hospital and have Joy follow so she wouldn't be there without any transportation.  I told her I'd take her and Joy could come pick me up when she got off work.  "Work? She has to work on Saturday?"  No mom, today is Friday.   . . .   I'll shorten the story . . . bunch of drama . . . an hour passes . . .  we are on the road headed to Lavonia.  About half way there she called their younger bother who live just west of Atlanta to see if he was going to be able to get to the hospital today.  He said no, he was at my aunt's house with my aunt.  Turns out (Praise the Lord) she had NOT had a stroke.  She had an infection in her jaw bone . . . when she called my mom telling her about the extreme pain and how it was just on the left side of her face, mom diagnosed "stroke" and almost had one herself.  So, all is good.  I didn't really fell like working today anyway.  I got to spend quality time with my mom and aunt, got fed good supper, and my wonderfull wife Drove 3 hours after working late today to come pick me up . . . and we made it home before midninght.   ;D

I guess the worst part of my birthday came late this afternoon when I realized it was past my birthday and I hadn't picked up my tags yet.  Now I have to pay a $10 late fee on each one of them.  The really bad thing about them is that two of the three tags were on stuff that never left my yard in the past year (Homer and my single wheel trailer).   ::)

A small price to pay . . . even with the late fee and ad velorum tax the tag for Homer is less than $34 . . . and I don't have to worry about emmisions testing . . . and since it's pre-1986, I don't need a title.  And for an extra dollar, I can get a sticker that says "In God We Trust" to cover the county sticker.  Let's see how many other states have the cahoona's to try that one!   ;D

Yeah but have you seen the newly redesigned state license plate? So ugly it makes me want to move back to TN!

They need another sticker as a option for covering the county sticker maybe:
" In the Triangle We Rust"     Or   "American by Birth Southern by the Grace of God"

If anybody gets upset for putting " In God We Trust" on the lic plate just use our beloved Prez Ovomit new buzz phase:  "I don't care what the People say they do not want ,I'm going to do it anyway I want to".  God help us.
