I'll try to do the September meet as well.
I just need to get this thing out of the box and look at it.

CHIRP is an open source program that lets you enter in the frequencies, tones, offsets, names of the channel, etc and have all of the information right there in a spreadsheet and then it up loads the info with each line in the spreadsheet being a channel. Its a simple way to apply names to pre-programed frequencies for a bunch of frequencies. I have 35 channels programmed in mine right now.
You can also download the local repeaters from CHIRP by entering your zip code and a radius around you. Then you import them into the spreadsheet and load them to the radio. Its amazingly simple.
