You know what I've just figured out?  When there isn't any gas in the tank, the engine will die pretty soon!  Must have something to do with the front and back of the car getting out of ballance or something . . .  :-k

8) An internal combustion engine is an engine that is powered by the expansion of hot combustion products of fuel directly acting within an engine. A piston internal combustion engine works by burning hydrocarbon or hydrogen fuel that presses on a piston; and a jet engine works as the hot combustion products press on the interior parts of the nozzle and combustion chamber, directly accelerating the engine forwards.  The key word is "fuel"

Hey CJ, I think you hit the nail on the head, but you have to remember that there is a small number of folks in the area just south of Chattanooga in what I like to call the North Ga. Bermuda Triangle where this law of physics is not in use or worse, not even known .

I was well on my way to figuring out that my "out of ballance" theroy wasn't the culpret.  Seems the more junk I tossed in the trunk to offset the weight of the missing fuel, the more often this happens!

Oh, well, I needed to add another gas can to my collection anyway.  :tard:

The really bad thing about running out of gas this time is that I had to get out and push it about 30 feet to get it started down the last little hill so I could coast to the plant.  The last dozen times I've run out of gas going to work, I coasted all the way.  Maybe if I hadn't taken those bags of concrete out of my trunk I'd of had enough momentum . . .

I just got a couple with the Vee. Pretty soon we can start putting them in next year's goody bags. Better yet, just put the goodies in the gas can!
