It sure does sound like a sweet find!
When I bought my '78 Bus, along with it came the window sticker, the warranty booklet, service coupons and maintenance interval book (with date stamps), owner's manual, North and Central America VW Dealership Directory, and a card that looks like an ID card (with raised numbers like a credit card).
All of this was in the glove box as opposed to under the carpet. :lol:
