I have heard some of you all on Saturday talking about the good deals that you found and I thought that I would put a place for us to post what we got and if you want what you paid for it...
My grabs were:
-Front mount plate for a bay Westy spare tire - $5.
-Home made but nice bay step (aluminum) - $25
-Beetle tow bar assembly - $25.
-2 minutes of peace as the kids played at the kiddy area - Priceless...

I think the bent up used "NOS" Thing fenders for $1000 (Yes one thousand)  were the best deal  :lol: I mean who wouldn't want to save $275 and do all that body work on" NOS fenders" rather than paying the extra for real NOS?

I got a decent sapphire 1 for 25.00,  everyone else wanted 50 or more,  gopt a new windsheild for the bug so when it is sunny or raining i'll be able to see out of it, need some window rubber with the chrome strip channel though, could not find that.  4 prong beetle vw emblem for 10.00,  still need a rear wide five drum in good shape,  and got to fix my charging system before cyw in 2 weeks!

Just ordered some selas cip1 has em on sale. I bought a saphire 1 for $5 and turns out it works! Plus a cheap shifter that I massacred to fix my copper Hurst. Now it shifts like cuttin thru butta.
